Dehler
Yachts teams up with Z Yachts. 3/2/05 - Alpharetta, GA/Chicago IL -
Dehler Yachts (www.dehler.us) and Z Yachts (www.zyachts.com
) have entered into an agreement whereby Z
Yachts will now be authorized to market and
sell new semi-custom build Dehler Sailing
Vessels. Dehler builds and markets high-end,
semi-custom build sailing yachts. Based in
Germany with North American headquarters in
Chicago, Dehler Yachts range in size from
29ft to 47ft. Their 47 model just won
Cruising World's coveted 2004 "Boat Of The
Year Award." Pricing ranges from the high
100's to upwards of $630,000.
For Z Yachts, this marks first real venture
into their new manufacturer direct program.
Z Yachts offer's Dehler a true national
system of brokers and marketing which will
drive over 1,000,000 boat shoppers per month
at the Dehler brand. Dehler is a highly
respected brand known for extreme high
quality and design without compromise in
sailing circles.
Although Z Yachts has traditionally
concentrated on powerboat sales, we realize
that the sailboat "sale" is a different
process from the powerboat sale. According
to James Weller, President of Z Yachts "the
incredible depth of our sales team with
seventeen highly experienced sailors and/or
sail endorsed captains on staff enables us
make move into the sail market."
As part of the program, Arnie Cross will be
assuming the role of Dehler Yachts
manufacturer representative with the Z
Yachts system. Arnie is a lifelong sailor
and is a managing broker for Z Yachts in the
